Shoko, our exchange student from quite a few years ago, has returned to Japan. Since she finished college, the Immigration authorities kicked her out (in the wake of 9-11). She is currently living in Okinawa and teaching English to children. Ultimately she'd like to return to the US. We miss her! You can let her know how much you miss her, and perhaps speed her return.
